It appears that the rear ill. panel I purchased has only lasted a couple of weeks, as previous members have quoted it could be the panel itself. I have had the inverter checked out, it is ok. My question is to check out the wires on the panel on the inside, what is the best and proven method of opening it. Cheers Brian:thumbsup:
Think carefully before proceeding >>> Click here for LINK to tech article. You run the risk of cracking the panel, as I did ... not upon opening, but when reassembling ... so take your time! You'll find the solder joint of wires to EL panel has come apart. NB: Replacement rear panels from CRESTA @ circa $50. Put mine in yesterday! Good luck!
