I've tried a quick forum search but nothing obvious came up without reading a large number of posts?? & I need an answer rather urgently! - so can anyone confirm if the rear hatch looms are the same in a 2+2 & 2+0??........I know the hatches are different!........but what about the actual loom length etc??
why not just make one out of wires? if you want and are close by.. and have a damaged loom, i can help you out. where abouts are you?
I'm in Flemington!.........but it's not just a damaged wire here or there??........the whole loom has deteriorated beyond repair??.........once I stripped the foam wrapping towards the wiper motor end & across the bottom of the hatch, I found the wires are basically all charred??........there's either been a short or something & the loom has pretty much burnt out??.......which is strange because usually a fuse or relay would be the first thing to go before the wiring would overheat??? Joe Imbesi had a look at it recently & said it would be easier/quicker/cheaper to just find a complete second hand loom & replace the whole thing!........right back to the connection to the main loom in the car body! The targa hook needs to be replaced! - so the roof lining has to partially come out anyway!........so I may as well just do it all in one go! I've got a few options for possible replacements??.........but I just need to confirm if the 2+0 & 2+2 looms are the same?? Thanks for the offer though! - might keep it in mind as a last resort!........& I'd be happy to bring the car to you if it came to that!
Can anyone with NISSAN Fast confirm if the part numbers are the same for this loom for the coupe & 2+2??
2 seater and 2+2 "harness back door" are the same part 07/89 through 10/98. Part number is 24051-40P00, update interchangeable part B4051-40P00. RHD and LHD are different.
