Would we have enough interest for at least 10 zeds to go up to bathurst 12 hour on sat and as a car club, the organisers would let us have a lap around the track as a car club of Zeds, saw this on the " redlinegti" website because they are trying to do the same, would need numbers real soon and confirm with organisers of 12 hour , they give us a place in the paddock and I think free entry.
The southern boys from down mexico way have me stitched up to go to Bathurst for the 12 hour. Event Name: 2014 Liqui Moly Bathurst 12 Hour Date: 07/02/2014 - 09/02/2014 Venue: Mt Panorama, NSW Organiser: YEEHAH EVENTS The intent of this *** is to ascertain the relative interest of Redline members to attend the said event as a Force Majeure and to rekindle the relationships forged at Hatch Attack 2013. This will also be an opportune event for those who missed the legendary Hatch Attack. I believe some of our Members are working at the event. The cheap seats are only available till New Years Eve and escalate in price next year. If we can stitch up the camp areas we require early we will save. Ticket pricing also rises at that time. My thoughts are that we acquire (depending on numbers) some adjoining camp sites (12M x 8M)so as to make a comfortable and liquidous area for us to revel. I will initially book and pay for four (4)adjoining sites and more if needed as per expressions of interest come cascading in (HINT). Expressions of interest for a meet up to watch the event are invited. I will travel down towing my trailer for my accommodation at the bottom of the mountain. I will leave on Wed 5 Feb 14 and return to Brisbane on Mon 10 Feb 14. Please show your interest in attending and/or suggestions by replying on here whether you are from Bris, Syd. Is this going to be available next year? Its a bit short notice for me this year, but I'll be in for next year. Have fun there and thanks for this information.
Pretty sure they do this every year, think they also do it with the Bathurst Motor Festival at Easter as well.
I think we have missed the cut off date for entry as a club was 17 Jan 2014 but was just guaging support
List it earlier for next year. If we get 9 people, I'll be in and make it 10. Unless we get a Tassie super cruise going.
