would only be novelty value I would think. I can't see a reason

to do that from a performance point of view.

    I have seen a Zed with a RB26 in a HPI dvd.

Apparently it was set up for drifting.
But they had some novice try and drift it and
he just kept going around in circles, to which the
HPI dude got a little sarcastic as to the drift
    ability of Zeds.

    the RB engines...

are quoted as being very good, strong engines.... more so than the VG30....

but yeah, owning a zed means it should have a zed motor. If you want an RB motor, go buy a skyline...

    Cheers

SIGH.. if only Zeds had RB26s...

This from a tuning point of view would be far easier to mod than the labour intensive VG...

I was seriously considering this but after getting some figures $$$$ for the conversion it turned me right off..something like $10K by the time you buy the GTR front cut ($6K). Plus the amount of custom fabricating would be beyond ridiculous.

Re: SIGH.. if only Zeds had RB26s...

rb26 is a better engine then the vg30dett, not saying vg30 is bad, but rb26 is better. woner if a 2jz would fit in a zed, would make interesting, i think 2jz pulls in more torque then the rb26. either way its gunna be a tight fit!

    2jz

yes i have seen info of a guy in the US with a 2jz zed,, anything is possible just depends how much money you are willing 2 spend.. hell you could put a 13b in a zed, now that would be interesting, small block chevs are common in the US aswell, a rb25 could be a cheaper option but they dont tickle my fancy.

Wouldn't be surprised.. Have you seen the cars with the UAE number plates?

They all drive nicely modified 350Zs, GTRs and Supras.

Theres a gold 350Z getting around Bris with two big hairdryers and these number plates.
