No, no splash guards, never had any. And yeah I had rat shit on the top of my block when I stripped the engine down. Oh well, time to get the rat sack out, little buggers won't know what hit em.
i'd love to be a fly on the wall if i saw them chew through your air filter, go up past your AFM, then hear a strange crunching noise as they get sucked through the turbo. muhuhahaha
