hey all! im a new member, i got my zx a couple of months ago and since then have washed it a few times and it has been driven before in the rain, however for some reason today i jumped in my pride and joy and there was a huge puddle of water where the pedals are and nothing else was wet. i know this might be a stupid question but any input as to why this has happened this time would be greatly appreciated, thanks again nathan
pull back the carpet and check it out? is it coolant? could be your heatercore but that generally leaks on the passenger side. could also be the heatercore tap
With the torrential rain we had today id say maybe ur targas? Mine used to leak but only when it was a real heavy downpour...
thanks for the replies, its not coolant as it has no smell and im pretty sure it isnt the targras cause it was just the drivers side floor that was wet, nothing else had a drop on it. im going to dry it all out then spray water under the car in every direction i can to see if its coming in through a small hole. i have a very rough idea where it maybe coming from, (holes in the plastic in the wheel arch) appreciate the input
