Guys, there is an issue regarding shipping - to have it direct to your door is like 65 pounds. To have it grouped in a package and direct to Caz for redistribution, is like 170 pounds for the lot. However, such a big box of electronic gadgets could attract all sorts of attention. Might even make the group shipping more costly in the long run. So we need to get a feel for how many of us want individual shipping versus group shipping, so that we can decide if we'll just do one, or the other, or a combination of the two. There have been 23 UK guys expressing interest, and 13 Aussies. If we end up with more than 15 confirming then there is an additional price reduction, so let's get those numbers up cos I want to save more Seriously though, the GB ends on 31st of August and you have the prices and shipping options, so please start confirming. I'm not shitting on the thing itself, if it was $250-$500 or something then awesome. But this is way expensive, this is aftermarket ecu territory and for what? The same features aftermarket ecu's have anyway? I'll be quiet now!
Notice that zisluv is on the buyers list? He used to have one. Then he sold it cos his aftermarket ecu has it built in. Now he wants to buy a racelogic again - what does that tell you about the aftermarket ecu traction control? Do some research before you bag it please. Most people that have it say it's the single best mod they've done (and if they have it then they've probably done quite a few mods).
That may be true but I think most people were expecting the price to be somewhat lower considering the number of buyers and also the short time frame doesnt help in people getting the money together to buy it.
I didn't "bag" it, if you notice the first thing I said was that I'm not shitting on the unit itself just the price which is clearly excessive for what it is. All that tells me is that one person didnt like the Motec setup, or that it wasnt configured properly. There are dozens of aftermarket ecus which have all these features and more.

Pricing info in here - UK GB versus Aussie GB Guys, you have for comparison the GB prices from the UK GB and the proposed Aussie GB (Aussie GB requires 10 members, and we only have 12 expressions of interest at the moment, but it would mean we could do it without the end of month deadline) Advantage of the Aussie GB is that there isn't going to be any surprises in terms of customs etc And warranty would be dealt with in Australia (i guess) There is a price advantage in the higher spec units when going with the UK GB, the lower spec units work out to be similar in pricing
