it WILL NOT LOOK GOOD. As said in the other post, front bar is from a car that looks totally different. So it does not suit the shape or lines of the 300zx! The reason it suits a G35/V35 (even possibly a 350z) is that they all have similar front ends. End of story.
well im guessing they have modified the bar to match up with the 300zx's lines and panels. i dont think they would just get a gtr front bar and say " HERE, PUT IT ON YOUR ZED "
no no no you don't understand. Ok yes lets say it fits YEAH WOO AWESOME I HAVE A GTRZ!!! But the LINES the DESIGN...DOES...NOT...SUIT! Have you never noticed the shape and styling of a 300zx. Compare to a GTR??? THe headlights are probably the major hurdle in getting a gtr kit to look right on a zed. Also the shape of the nose. Like i said, and yes, i'm angry and in a bad mood from work so i will use capital letters again, IT LOOKS GOOD ON A V35 BECAUSE IT LOOKS SIMILAR TO A GTR - ie. similar lights/shape etc

if you honestly think that front bar suits the Zed then i don't believe you've ever actually looked at your car. Notice how the 300zx has a nose panel between the headlights, as a separate panel from the nose, yet this front bar has the evolved version of the 'nose panel' as part of the bar. Hence why it looks so stupid to have two nose bits. This reminds me of the 'homer' car from the simpsons - put a whole bunch of great ideas together and what do you get? A piece of shit.
Agreed 100%. Vizard, I know you'd like to think that a bit of the awesome-looking GTR style can be applied to our cars, but really they can't, it's basic design, it's like trying to take the front of a 747, shrinking it and trying to graft it onto the zed, it's like veilside kits, people generally hate them because they just look out of place on a zed; like they were meant for a different car. While we're on the topic of "scavenging" parts from the new GTR, the only thing i would chuck on my zed is it's wheels. -Kirill
i never said it will look good im just saying theres no way to really tell unless its actually fitted. ive seen uglier front bars on z's than this, ones that looks like they were shat out from hitlers ass yet no one seems to think they look out of place. i do think it looks rather boxy, but like i said theres zedz running around with much uglier looks bars than that.
So why add to the already existing issue of foul taste? IMO the entire R35 looks like it was designed by a half blind and retarded Euro monkey with a spasm in his drawing hand. Why even entertain the idea of disecting such crap on to a zed? Sure it's a Skyline and it goes hard but thats really all thats going for it. I truly feel sorry for the idiots with hidious imaginations :bash:
