when you guys do an oil change what do you do to give you enough clearance to get under the car. Is it just a matter of jacking up one side?

    thanks for your tips.

    Yes Ben ...

Or you can park over kerb/culvert, providing room to climb under and allow oil to drain into stormwater drain ... just joking ;) But you get the idea.

Alternately, see NZR post re having wife/girlfriend do it for you.:LOL::LOL:

Jack up and remove the front right wheel.

You can then get good access to the sump plug and oil filter.

    Cheers,

    Peter

    Cheers for the tips

think i'll jack the car up and remove the front wheel sounds like the easiest route plus need to check out a clunk on that side so works well two birds in one stone

Thanks Baz for the offer of the stands and trolley jack.

Ummm, It might be best to lift the left front wheel instead

so the oil sump plug becomes the lowest point and you get more of the old oil out....;)
