my car has just started to loose power (sound's like it is missing) when under load ie at full boost, and some times there is a hesitation when i take off, i've changed my ptu and to no avail i found one coil pack that didn't seam to be working os i cleaned it and put it back on another cylinder and they all seam to be going now any ideas Cheers Matt
Might be a bad connection to your det sensor like an intermittent fault which I had for a while. The Z would just lose power as it came in and out of safety boost. I ended soldering the bypass resistor in to ensure a positive connection to solve the problem.regards John
perhaps a faulty airflow meter my car would get to around 4000 rpm then lose power (i bought it like that) and it came with a spare airflow meter,so i swapped them over and then the car was missing in low revs but was able to drive it to 7000 no worries. my suggestion (as i done) would be to go to an import spare parts place. ask to check the airflow meter in your car. takes about 5 minutes to do max. then if all is fine as it was in my case buy the meter if not time to look for other reasons. regards brett
