Is the cas and igniter from an rb20 (skyline R32 / R33) the same as the 300zx Z32?

    Technically.............

The only model RB20 fitted with the same PTU as the Z32 is the C34 Laurel, fitted with the RB20DE engine built from 01/1993 to 09/1994.

The R33 Skyline's fitted with the RB25DET engine built from 08/1993 to 06/1994, also the RB25DE engine built from 08/1993 to 07/1997 share the same PTU as the Z32.

I thought it was the later model skylines that got the s2 ptu?

    Trivia....

The so called "Series II PTU" first appeared in the Z32 from September 1993.

It wasn't a new development as the "Series II PTU" first appeared in the Y32 Cedric/Gloria from June 1991.

Any early rb20det has the same ptu. I swap them all the time
