I'm planning to replace my engine bay wiring harness as part of the big engine pull coming up. Its a '91 Manual TT Zed (the_cypha's one). Part of the plan is to replace the stock Series-1 injectors with NISMO Series-2 injectors (different connector).

I've e-mailed to Coz at concept Z about it (probably going to source one from over there) and apparently I have two options:

    - Buy a 1991 model loom, and splice on series-2 injector connectors
    - Buy a 1995 model loom (which will already have series-2 injector connectors, and source a 94+ CAS

Does anyone have experience with this? Which is the better way? Does a 1995 loom present any other connector issues? (PTU, others). I suppose the *safest* thing to do would be to put a 1991 loom into a 1991 car and splice on series-2 injector connectors (option one) but I thought I'd ask to see if anyone had experience

    Thanks!

Why do you want S2 injectors? Are you going to change the lower plenum aswell?

There is nothing wrong with the s1 nismo's if they are a late version.

S2 injectors kind of just happened (got a good deal for them / forgot to really check). I'm going to order a 300 Degree rail to solve the lower plenum problem too

Haven't gotten any firm pricing yet.

Was looking at this from CPZ. US$340 which is ~AU$470. I was planning on ordering a few other bits and pieces from them, so hopefully the shipping won't be completely terrible. The best price I could find for a loom in Aus is ~AU$900+ so anything better than that is good? Or maybe I wasn't looking hard enough =)

PZP (Perth Z Performance) used to/still do? sell the RHD harness pretty cheap. Maybe try them aswell?
