QLD Qld'ers driving to Warwick for Nationals....

I thought i might as well get this thread rolling after seeing that the Melbourne guys are starting to plan their trip.

has anyone yet decided the best route to take to get to Warwick? Warwick is pretty much directly West of the gold coast. those that have gone before, do you pass through Nerang way?

those members in Queensland who are going, can you please put forward where you are coming from so we can get a general idea of everyone's location and to what the best meeting point is going to be?

i have booked for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, has everyone else done the same?

suggestions please.

Erik, if you are planning on doing the SEQ cruiZe from the Gold Coast, i would recommend going via Boona, Beaudesert way. a much more fun and scenic route then going through Brissie and along the Cunningham highway.

JMO.

 

i live in the Redlands....so half way between the coast and brissie. im not fussed which way we go, i just wanna organise a cruise to Warwick, so we can all stick together.

are you going benny? will we be going past you? are you driving by yourself?

No mate, i only live half an hour from Warwick so i'll probably just meet up with Karl and we'll roll down the road to Warwick and meet you's all there as it's the opposite direction for us to meet you's.

The last time we went out to Warwick we went out via the cunningham Highway I remember that section of road quite distinctively :cool2:

I daresay we'd be doing the same again this time?

Cruze drought

Is this going to bring a SEQ cruise drought again like last year? Perhaps I'll organise a "I didn't get my arse into gear so can't go to Warick cruise".

Gold Coasters may depart from GCCC car park, Nerang, at a time yet to be confirmed and travel via Beaudesert to arrive in Warwick around Noon.

It's Brisbanites and yes, I'm happy to do that. I know the place, It was the meeting point of my very first Z cruise.

 

Guess I'll just follow the pack and meet there as well.
