thanks to chris for organising and to AMEC, Caz and Street to strip for prizes, dam i didnt win any :bash: might need to buff my car next time or bribe a heck of alot of people lol,

sorry to those following me but i DIDN'T do it

benny i just grab the steering wheel and hang on

fleet um i havent checked my tyres but i think benny should check his first

macman um the zed made me do it

ill post my pics later if i get around to it

Well what a great day with an awesome group of people.
The day was a little overcast but hey it didn't rain.
I want to say thank you to everyone that came and made the day what it was.
As Baz has said in the title of the post its all Bennys fault....
We had a group that wasn't happy with the route that I had planned ,so they went for a litte extra drive but that gave Magic ,Pex and myself a good half hour chat on the side of the road.
I can't believe the Ford Laser Pace car and I must say not once but twice thanks to Magic ducking off to get some Cheese.
you never see anyone on these roads and if there is trafic they are normally going faster than you.
But hey 40 in an 80 zone and braking to 25 in the corners is fine
I really would like to say a Giant thank you to:

And Baz for the bottles of wine

for donating the prizes for the day,the prizes were awesome and I can't thank you guys enough.

The last one was a hard one and we got it down to 3 cars but because of the 3 cars involved two of the judges had to rule themself out (Pex and myself) and Baz took my offer of bribes and tipped it my way(thanks Baz the check is in the mail )
I must say I had a ball and can't wait to put another one together ,I might make this a yearly thing.

CHRIS .. this is a MUST annual cruise .. just brilliant..

.. i am still on a high every time i think about that "forest hill climb" .. that has to be one of the best ever cruise sections ...!!!! .. every possible type of curve, corner, dip, rise, hill, hidden corners, blind corners ... just every thing imaginable ... hell, it was great .... :biggrin: :biggrin:

.. and, heading home, belting down the M1, i spied a vehicle coming up on me at a rate of knots, pulled to the centre lane .. and whooossshhhh ... this absolutely beautiful, black sedan races past at xxxx kph ... all i was left with was the badge on the boot disappearing in the distance ... MASERATI ... didn't mind at all .... lol....:biggrin: :biggrin:

 

Annual cruize? how about one ever quarter!! i could do that over and over and over. Like Baz said, everything was covered in that cruise, it was planned beautifully!

If you ever want to go again just randomly with a few people, im up for it!

Haha, i had my own bit of exotic car action on the way home as well... just after getting off the gateway onto the ipswich motorway, i came across a brand new... wait for it... ... ... ... ... black ferrari!!!!!

and i had just finished tussling with a new XR6 ute and a white STi...

then the ferrari persisted in following me all the way back to Toowoomba, along with a turbo'd Nissan Exa...

*sigh* anyone wanna hand me some turbo's?

Turbo's are fun.
sounds like your trip home was a bit more exciting than mine.
Was great too, not one copper the whole trip. Surprising actually considering it's school holidays.

haha, had to make a pit stop at gatton maccas, was starting to feel a little sleepy... better safe than sorry...

ferrari decided to stop there to when he caught up to me, so i had to chase him down... again

I thought the meal was good man, well priced for pretty much all u can eat. generous slab of meat there

 

spit roast crackling was tops, chris ... but i found the

pork meat a bit dry .. demolished it, nevertheless ...!!! .. lol .. :biggrin: :biggrin:

 

sorry to go against the grain but my meat pie was burnt and it took forever to come out... but the missus loved the meal...
