Had so much fun, thanks Al and all those who came to make the day possible. Can't believe there isn't already a post. Well I leant a bit, like I'm good at doing 360's . Not so good at the drift thing, I'm gonna blame my tyres . Got some great photos and a few vid's as well. But where are all the other posts?
Do they do a course in order to show you how to handle the car when sliding?? Or was it just get out there and start sliding???? So pissed I couldn?t make it?and I only live 6 mins down the road
They just let you out on the track and go nuts. And you were not meant to slide around the whole thing as you're not allowed to "drift" (didn't stop me from trying though hehe).
was a good day i expected to not be able to keep the car from spinning with my semi bald n2000's but havin less traction on the back seemed to help get her sideways quite easy did learn some more about the handling of my car which is always good, i now have anhour of footage to go thru im undecided how much ill edit it if anyone wants the bulk of the footage in mpeg2 on a dvd let me know and ill do that in the short term and maybe a short edited vid down the track thanks al for oraginsing i enjoyed myself heaps and even showed with a toot of the horn past the stand by accident to prove it hehe :bash: i had too many hands at one stage lol oh and poor chrispy trying to film with me throwing the car around i thought he was going to end up on my side of the car a few times
Dying to see coverage I'm so pissed that I missed this. sounds like another fun Zday out. I think once I've got my car all fixed up I'm just gonna garage it till days like this come up lol

sadly mike i dont think we would have an event that good. that place is something i really want to go on ....we only have large skid pans
there should be one somewhere...sau has a few places but ill have to get the numbers and all that...but yeah i want to organise one like that...would love to do that
Thanks to all that came and participated. It was a great day and I was absolutely stuffed by the end of it. Thanks to Simonzx for letting me have a drive of his R33. I can see why they are so popular, pity they are so damn ugly. Mia had a blast in her little 'lude and was pulling big drifts with the rest of us. (proud BF here) (and impressed Akeizm here). I was also surprised by my zed (aka DriftWhore) going out for 12 runs, 7 with me , 4 with vic, and once with simonzx, without missing a beat.:zlove: (Ignoring turbo smoke) This will be the last skidpan for some time with the difficulty I had getting numbers. However I will be considering a multi club motokhana later in the year.
I'm already in Al. I'll post my photos and vids when I work out how to get the photos of my new camera. Bloddy computer worn't recognise it.
Yea man that little lude was crankin, felt cool as Yea cheers for the run, sucks about the numbers. If you run another one I know my parents would like to go, and I might be able to get more 928 members.
928 members aye.... my mates dad has i supercharged 928, i would love to see him fang it round that track although i think its in pieces at the moment
