Company great, weather great, food superb but ohhh those Sunday drivers :bash:

Fate rode with me and attracted his usual friends but they left us alone despite finding them 1/2 way up the Canungra Gorge road on a blind hair-pin

Thanks for coming guys & gals, it was an enjoyable day.

What a fantastic day out. I thoroughly enjoyed my 1st cruise and will definatly be back for the next.

On the way home though I ran into a few problems...



It happened when i bottomed out while parking at the hotel for lunch, a very sad run home.

I can't wait until the next great adventure.

 

rrrr stop having all these cruises....its making me sad that i cant join lol any pics????

Intercooler pipe came off its clamp when i bottomed out on the grass. Made for some nasty sounds and very black smoke, I think pex coped a bit before I pulled over.

Mike had alot of road rage on the way home! caught baron on the freeway gettin put onto a tow truck sadly :-( blew out the rear left tyre i think mike said (he ran back down the freeway after he drove straight past haha)

...beautiful day out, was good to meet some of the crew and the scenery was so hot if it had an arse i'd tap it. hope to do another like this soon.

 

I would have loved to been there, if only to add a bit

of white in amongst that sea of black zeds :biggrin: .

Sounds like a nice cruise. St Bernards is one of my favourite places on a hot day.

I hope Vic made it back ok without too much damage to the hip pocket .

 

We missed you Bob. DazMelb also couldn't make it, John (Cresta) prolly thought better of taking on a bunch of Z32's and R33K ... well what can I say about a guy who only got home from the pub at 0630

We visited a superb cheese factory and trust all who purchased the triple cream Brie will allow it to come to room temperature b4 enjoying this Mt Tamborine delicacy ... yum!

Did I mention the oysters? ....... I hope yours work ok Vic :biggrin: Cheryl's very nice

another beaut day in magic zedland .... thanks all ..and

so, to the tech report ....

magic mike developed a small lower rad hose leak .. and so, cruise over, we whipped over to my place, pulled the garage from hell apart to find my spare lower rad hose .. all good/found so mike heads off home to install same ...

.. 5 minutes later, my mobile rings ... unca vic ... baz, i have a problem .. can i borrow one of your spare wheels .. i'm at helensvale, 30 minutes up the M1.. baz loads two wheels and heads off, cannot find vic ... several phone calls and vic with his flat tyre finally located .. wheel changed and all well, vic is on his way to the sunshine coast with the lovely cheryl giving him well deserved heaps for driving on a R/S tyre ... lol.. good stuff cheryl .... !!!!

.. so baz heads off home .. half way down the M1, my cat converter warning light comes on ... wtf ...!!!! .. goes off after about 45 seconds, so baz carries on home regardless ....:biggrin: :biggrin:

at least you finally made it home to report it all i made it home without blowing up my tranny, seems to have proven stronger than what i thought, i guess i was being careful not to blow it again but today i wanted to see if it could hack it and it held up pretty well despite the chronic smoke show in front of fate's mates

 

What a great day. Didn't finish too smartly with the car loaded onto a tilt tray (drove on/drove off).Blew a hole big enough to put your fist into through the inside wall of my pass. side rear tyre. RACQ just wanted it off the M1 asap. Had fitted the space saver, but had no way of blowing it up. Thank god for Black-Baz and one of his old wheels, the 170k trip home would have ben impossible on the space-saver. New rear tyres tomorrow.
Cheryl would like to thank everybody for being so friendly, but she's an easy lady to be friendly to. She didn't like me following Rob up the mountain early in the day:bash: , but enjoyed the later casual cruiZe.She has a pic of my car on the tilt tray and is threatening to use it

 

No one mentioned this cruise was held for Mafized (who eneded up being a no-show).
So this cruise has been determined a MAFI FREE ZONE.
