[QLD] - Pre-Cowra Tech day SUNDAY March 16th 2008

Hi all

In the run up to Cowra, we are having a tech day on Sunday 16th March (that's about 4 weeks away). If it helps you out, this is 1 week prior to Cowra.

LadyZ (Maree and Gavin) will be hosting this one.
BYO Drinks and maybe Pizza or similar for lunch.
Power and an air compressor will be available.
Please post up your attendance here so we at least get an idea of how many to expect.

I'll be there, probably on my own at this point.

This is the perfect chance to give your car the once over if you are going on this long trip, and if not, a perfect occasion for some Z Lovin' or even for a social visit.

Remember to bring

• Drinks
• Tools
• Tarps and/or rags especially if you will be working with oils

I'll have ConZult and datascan available for those who need it.

I'm not sure if Maree will want to put her address up here publicly, but we can PM all interested parties if need be.

 

blalck baz is in ..... as a warm up for st.patrick's day !!!

.. p.s. dr. zed(specialist) did a mini-tech on bess to day .. idle correction and the "dink" ignition light mod ....(vrooom, vrooom ..) .. this tech day will be great to finish off bits and pieces pre-coona ...

chrispy .. the dink mod was done today .... we found that the well presented tech article is tops for 2 + 2 TT ... a couple of edits to cover a 2 seater will add to the article ....

.. edits:

.. 2 seater rear panel(s) to get to the green wire (different from 2 + 2)..

.. mention that the screw in the switch plate acts as an earth ..

.. identify positive/negatives ...???

.. probably easier to access the "green" wire from the door sill just as it right angles up towards the switch ...

will try and clarify all this at the tech day .... lol... :biggrin: :biggrin:

Thanks Pexzed for starting this.........sorry guys I have been busy travelling through America (the hardship of it all) and not always near a computer........everyone is welcome to come to our place for this tech day.....we have 10 acres, so the more the merrier....and I especially welcome all those who are going to be there with tools in hand ready to work on any car needing it, as mine decided to get pre-op jitters the day before i flew out and not work when it should be getting it's bodykit fitted now as we speak - sigh!!!! Anyway, pm me when it gets closer to the date for our address or if you have any questions and I will answer when I can
