[QLD] Macman's where am I now cruze

My boost was set to "sensible mountain driving" instead of laggy straight line machine. Was pretty neck and neck though. Forgot to switch it over.

Dont blame me for slowing you down, i was being slowed down by my suspension, too much understeer and body roll.

 

i'm running ok suspension

with some borderline bauldy tyres front and rear need to get some new rubber all round then can do that run even better :bash:

 

Was lost........

in never never land....... psa sligthly directionaly chalanged. I tried to keep up through the twisties but strange noises from passengers seat kept intermitently appearing.

By the time we found or bearings it was too late to make the pub for lunch & needed fuel. Thats when MM spoted us, so quick trip to my sisters to say hello & then 2 hours home.

Thanks Macman still had a geate time all the same. Lets get lost thogether again.

Oh and how did my R32 GTR (coupe - I only count 2 doors? Prehaps you are confused, we have 4 *driveshafts*) wind up leading a 300 cruise anyway?

I think we just need to start doing the 5 min chat at the begining of each cruze, that should have been my job , but I think it has been missing from a few cruzes of late.

 

I finaly found internet, all be it public and short term, but I have to say thanks for the warm welcome and the tour of the countryside it was beautiful.

Sorry to Kaos for not slowing down so he could see me but I had no idea where I was or was going or I woud have kept you in view, I did try those walkie talkie things but either I can't work them or they were out of range but nobody answered.

That skyline must have been a slow one cos I kept up in the hire car:biggrin:

Anyway thanks for a great drive out and again thanks for the warm welcome, I will bring the wife next time.

 

:O sif, I'd like to make it clear that at no point was I actually leading the 300 cruise. Mikey took off infront of me, then I lost him in a cloud of bikies, after that, we were all lead around by a corrolla with frangapennies for a while, followed by a falcon with a brim hat on the rear parcle shelf.

We got into Sydney on Sunday afternoon, 36hr run from Gold Coast, and didn't get lost!

 

lol... good to see that sydney is still directly south, rob ..!!!

... had you turned left, as we did, you would have ended up on the west coast of the 'ol USA ... well, we almost got to murwillimbah ....
