QLD [QLD] June 9th 2012 Downshift meet

I usually got to these meets Every month and have never had any trouble from police and there is always a great turnout of 500+ Japanese cars with a lot of work done to them.

Hoping to see a few more Zeds this time!!!

Many of you have been asking about the next meet... So here it is! Bigger and better, we have new partners on board: giveaways, sausage sizzle, promo girls, demo cars, it's all here. Put it in your diaries, cause you definitely don't want to miss this!



To be able to keep this as a regular meet, it is important that you follow the CONDITIONS OF ATTENDANCE

Date: Saturday 9 June 2012, 2 - 5pm

Location: Rocklea Showgrounds, Goburra Street, Rocklea. Link to map HERE. We will be using the trotting track to park up around the edge. You will be directed by the DS guys in branded shirts.

 

I have been waiting for this but I am rostered to work. At this stage I'll say maybe

 

These were better when they were at night in car parks. Had a more underground feeling to them.

 

Only one of the JDMSTs i went to had cops, which was the DFO premeet for QLD Raceway huge one. And even then they were just haselling the nugget cars with the aero dragging on the ground.

 

I looked at post event feedback from the last one & JDMST was very keen about getting rid of the wankers who spoil it for the rest.
Thats why they will take video, photos & give them to police. I believe offenders will also be banned from future events.

 

I was at that one too. Cops weren't too bad, but I was still glad I took the Evo rather than the zed. Was a massive turnout, few too many of the fully hectik hellaflush douchebag brigade though.

I'd rather be playing up in the mountains.

 

I could go in mine and smoke you all out jut letting it Idel.

 

I was at the Jindalee DFO one as well. First one where the cops had ever done anything because the organisers did not tell DFO about the Meet. This is a planned Meet at a private venue.

It's a good day out to see some rad cars so keeping posting up the interest and ill see where you are all at and organise a pre-meet.

I'm thinking of having a Pre-Meet at the Botanical Gardens Car-Park at the Base of Mount Cootha

I am definate now roster has changed & I don't have to work Saturday night.
I will be in North Lakes at about noon so will go to Mount Cootha from there. Just waiting for meet times.

 

Meet starts at 2 so people that are wondering on a meet time i am Looking at 1:30pm. Will give you all an official time tomorrow.

Will be good to have some Zedders to talk shop to
