we will open up 'the 4th october birthday' thread about a month before the big bash ..... so early sept should launch it .... whooopppeeee ...!!!!

 

Anything on in early Nov ? I'll be up there for the Pan Pac masters

between chardy shows is a bit close .. the wallet needs some time to recover .... lol... and ...

 

BENNY'S PICCIES WOOT!!!

Wow, what an action packed weekend! Without doubt the best weekend i've ever had.
Started off meeting up with Fate and the lovely HaylZ on Thursday morning and trecked off to Seaworld for the afternoon.



Always wanted to see the dolphins doing the Moonwalk in real life


Then discovered the Seaworld "Tavern" and couldn't pass up stopping in for a bite to eat ... oh and some beers! (Fate and HaylZ stuffing their faces as usual)


Then onto the Bermuda Triangle water ride. (What a bunch of posers we are )


Then after that, another stop into the Tavern


Then to the underwater viewing tunnels to see a big, white, dog looking creature that really likes swimming.

Then HaylZ spotted the Tavern again and gives the thumbs-up to another pitstop for beers


After a fun filled day of drinking beers at the Tavern - oh, and seeing the sights of seaworld, we head off to our next destination. (Benny_C & HaylZ strutting their stuff back to the carpark)



THE CHARDY SHACK!!!!!
I wish i had better pics of this place in better light. Baz and Annette have a purpose built back yard for entertaining (Zedders ) and is like a paradise oasis that simply can't be explained, you HAVE to experience it for yourself. I will try to never miss another Chardy Shack experience after seeing this place.
Blackbaz and Annette are the best hosts I have ever met and put on drinks and a feast fit for royalty. Thankyou both so so much for getting some of our friends together to party while we were in town. and putting us up for the night. We can't thankyou enough! :zlove:

Or maybe not, it was absolutely FREEZING!!!


But that's ok, good excuse for some warm hugs to dry out


The morning after, and our host Blackbaz feeling a bit worse for wear from the late night. And that's when the cleanup began.


And that's when me and HaylZ packed up and went to the Brisbane Airport to catch a flight up to surprize Karl (90TTZ) in Townsville that afternoon, where some more partying happened. (i'll post pics up in that thread also)


Well, here comes the thankyou's.
Fate, you have to get your car fixed asap mate so we have more chances to catch up. You are always so much fun to hang out with an was a great day we spent with you at Seaworld. and thanks for driving us around in the Mighty-Meteor.

Everyone who came to the Chardy Shack, it was really awesome to catch up with you all again. These little events just seem to get better and better every time. Can't wait to see everyone at the next one!

Blackbaz and Annette, 2 simply wonderful and generous souls. Go out of their way to entertain others. The effort and expense they put into their Chardy Shows is huge and shouldn't be missed.
Thanks again guys for that and putting us up for the night. Had the best time ever! :thumbup: :thumbup:

Oh, one more thanks. Haylz, the most funnest and awesomest girl i've ever met. as great as the time was, you've made it doubly good by being there too. :zlove:

What an absolutely awesome loong weekend we have. You QLD'ers really know how to out on a party and make people feel welcome!!

Baz and Annette, thank you so much for having us stay and putting on that amazing feast. You make the greatest hosts ever!!! I'll be honoured to be your guest again some day!!!

It was great to catch up with all those familair faces from past meets and i'm always happy to meet new Zedders!! The night was just over too fast... can someone fill in Benny and I on this salad tossing thingo??? we're both very confused!

Felt quite hazy in the morning, but it was all worth it!!! we ran out of TED's and had to switch to wine.... very bad mistake.... almost as bad as going for a swim (Benny is full of bad ideas!!! heehee)

 

Call me crazy...

But even after the copius amounts of TED's, Platinums and the wine we had - i'm still pretty sure the pooool idea could have even came from you Haylzie.

I can't remember who came up with the idea to go back in a second time though :thumbup:

.. and I forgot to thank haylZ, Benny and Anthony for the great clean up job they did before i managed to rise from the dead .....

.. the garbos !!!!!.. the whole cul de sac was awakened with the almighty crash of many, many bottles being dumped at 6.00am this morning .. what a noise .... !!! .. lol...

 

Well, it IS my birthday on the 5th October.....AND it is also a long weekend in NSW for Labour Day.... so it does sound like pretty good timing for another QLD trip!!! and i can't think of anyone else i'd like to spend my birthday with!!!

we just wanted to make our presence known to the whole street!! just in case they weren't aware we had a huge party the night before!!!

 

Wasn't quite the same without you dad! Benny and i took some photos of your ski jump building from the skycabin thingo at Seaworld..... see! we were thinking of you, and you were with us in spirit!

we also waved at every yacht we saw out the plane's window just in case you were a little behind in schedule and were sailing somewhere between Gold Coast and Townsville

I know how much Rob has always wanted a GT wing, couldn't find one for his Zed so found a building that already had one installed

Very nice building and location Rob. Would love to have a look through your batch pad one of these days when you're not sailing the seven seas. :zlove:
