Q for those who have hooked up a EBC

While the engine is out i was wondering if it would be a better idea to hook the inlet to the solinoid of the EBC, off the pick up point for the safety boost valve (which is just after the compressor outlet) instead of the usual point on the under side of the pipe before the throttle body.
Can anyone see a problem with that?

    Yes

Just run equal length pipes to the wastgates them self's.
I think that's what you're talking about when you say pick up point for the safety boost valve.
Then T them together in the middle and connect that to the inlet of the solenoid.

You might as well remove the safety boost things all together as they have to be unplugged for a EBC to work.

Yeh got the wastegates sorted but...

the other 4mm vacuum line that runs off the safety boost valve is the one i needed to know about. I checked the turbo pipes again & i dont think it will work as its actually on the inlet to the compressor rather than the outlet. Oops, my bad.
Yup ive given the safety valves the flick & what i was trying to achieve is better boost response through a shortened vacuum track.
EBC's usually give their best response when using less than 3ft of vacuum line, but with having to run equal length lines to both turbos makes this very hard.
I'll just go the standard route before the throttle bodies.
    Cheers anyway

    Also...

I found the old lines were actually different length. 1 was 700mm & the other 850mm. This might explain why 1 turbo might need a new seal & the other doesnt.

This is 1 to be carefull of people when hooking up an EBC
    Cheers
