I'm still bedding in the clutch etc, so I've been putting it around on low boost... and driving it to work... which is interesting with the 6-puck clutch.

Still, she's going quite well I think!

I probably need a tune before the drag day though mate...

    And some exhaust mods. ;)

Hmmmm well, if I beat the old time (12.8), I'll raise a smile... I should obliterate that time tho... - Lighter car, bigger turbs, injectors, manifolds, dumps, exhaust this time round.

11's would be lovely! Then I'd be doing this :D

Well busy weekend! Hungover for most of it again due to an engagement party and birthday party but none the less!

Chris (ezzupturbo) came round and we got stuck into it...

Engine bay empty! Some major grime in there. Gotta get the scrubbing brush out!

New Oil pump (Had a whine and not sure what it was so replacing everything!)

Turbo comparison: (Turbo's that were on the car on the left, Highflows on right)

Reassembled! Turbos on, new oil pump on, AMS mani's on... Just gotta tidy a few more bits up and we're ready to go!

So was a very busy weekend!

    Engine and box out
    Removed old turbos and mani's
    Fitted new turbos and mani's
    Fitted new oil pump
    Fitted new hoses, gaskets etc

Throughout the week gotta scrub the engine bay, clean up and paint the subframe, take tailshaft in for a balance, fit Nistune, fit subframe and hopefully this weekend get the shift kit in + engine and box back in...

Huge thanks to Chris for all your help m8! Would have taken me 4 times as long to get to where we are now without ya! :D

    More updates to follow shortly!

How do you think the AMS manis will go with hi-flowed stockos?

I also have some AMS manis that I bought to go with GT28R's, though I'll be now keeping my stock hi-flows (which run a standard exhaust wheel), heads have been ported on the exhaust side and match ported on the intake.

    Unsure...

How did you go with the tail shaft?

Well I went the AMS mani's based on the fact there will be less restriction. I highly doubt they will attribute to more lag as others have mentioned. If so it wil be minimal. I figure the easier it is for my engine to breathe ie: bigger dumps, bigger mani's, bigger air intake, the better it will perform.

I also had a similar size (almost stock) exhaust wheel with the last zed and it went hard with the AMS mani's. I hadnt tried without, but while ur there, u may as well! :D
