I Finally got my z back after a long story, the pannelbeater sent it to a mechanic, to whom i had no choice of mechanic. after removin the majority of the goodie in the front they reinstalled them and couldnt get the car to start! what ever they did they have stuffed it! It is reasonable thursty (as most are more than it was before) and can stall wen slowing down to a set of lights! we check TPS and adjusted it, Most sensors are good:thumbsup: 1 o2 shitty base idle fine, any reason it could be stalling?
im taking it back to the mechanic to get him to fix it, Im gonna tell him not to touch base idle Tps etc what to tell him to touch??

    Idle adjustment.....

I was trying to be a mechanic once and adjusted my idle. However, I did not disconnect the ecu control and infact lowered it too far. Then when I would slow down (like approaching a set of lights) the car would stall. To adjust the idle correctly you have to first remove ecu control by disconnecting the little yellow plug on the IAA unit. Then adjust the idle via the adjustment screw, and then reconnect the plug to give control back to the ecu. I hope this makes sense, it'd probably make more sense if I had some pictures. Check the service manual, its all in there.

    Cheers

    Could be

ive had the problems since the mechanic gave it back, maybe he fiddled with it to get to run? i had a few z fourum members had a look at it n base idle seemed fine on consult? dose the o2 sensor have anything to to with it stalling? one reading was very sluggish.
when it idles its fine, only appeares to stall when the engine is underload comming down from higher reves to idle:unsure:

Have you run an ECU diagnostic?

It could just be a sensor not correctly connected.

Any dash lights on? Sounds a little like when the ECU fuse has blown.
