Paul (ZXxx) has just called me from the side of the road. Weird problem. The taillight out warning light and antilock (abs) light are on on the dash. Temp guage is showing overheating. Paul has said the engine didn't feel sluggish or gave any indication its warm. The overflow bottle has a little fluid in the bottom but its not hot. The car runs fine. Any ideas?
My dash lights went weird when the alternator carked it. Can't remember if it showed overheating though. I wouldn't dismiss that one on one of our first hotttish days.
How about water leak caused over heating. Water leaked into alternator causing electrical issues. I don't really know, let us know when it gets sorted. Best of luck Paul.
dunno bout the lights but last time I saw his Z his heater bypass hose was fully kinked, I wonder if he sorted that out.
Got told broken fan belt! I forget to ask the question; I dont have a radiator shroud so I know if mines there or not by the fan spinning.
