Nothings been done yet, but im considering slowly building a TT engine over the next year or two. Ive got an NA block in my yard. Heads are gone as are all accessories.

Thinking I could use that as a base to work on for the build? Or worst case jsut pull it apart to see the inner worknigs of the engine.
Either way, Z1 have a write-up of TT vs NA differences and it sounds like they are interchangeable minus a few easily changed differences.

    Differences:
-pistons- ill have forged ones anyway.
-oil pump has a different spring but id get a new one anyway
-Theres a few differences in the oil galleries but discrepancies are simply blocked off between NA and TT. i.e. remove a bolt in NA block and the TT oil feed lines fit in.
-TT oil filter bracket has check valves for bypassing, and a pressure thing for oil cooler flow.

It sounds like thats it. All easy stuff to change right? Should I give it a go and pull apart the NA block to see its condition?
