WA Pre-cruise Techday/drinks night- 9th October

Keeping the ball rolling on the WA scene... Got the mundaring Cruise on the 17th October, so another techday the week before is in order to get things finished off ready for it. Several people missed out on getting stuff done last tech day and another was requested at the most recent cruise, so i figured why not...

Bring ya cars, parts everything ya need for the day and head on round to mine, and we will see what we can get done. IF there is PP's etc to be done please make sure you get here early in the day so we can get them done in good time.

Once the tech day is over and done, those who are keen can stick around and have some drinks and socialise some more into the night...
and as per usual BBQ on the day, will be some drinks here, but feel free to bring some extra's

will PM non-regulars the address closer to the date, if i miss you or you forgot the address just let me know

ah ok.....tech day wise, ill be there, ive got some new alpine stereo gear to install if people would like to have a look for me......
new deck, new 6.5 inch splits and a tiny little amp to power it all.....

 

nice... stereo is always fun...

As i said last cruise, would be nice to take a look at my injectors to see if anything can be cleaned up hasnt happened since but better to get ontop of an issue early.

also, me and the gf will be moving house this same weekend so by monday ima be buggered lol.

Yer, I'm there as per usual. Unless my Gearbox is out aready .

I will have consult available, so can check codes if you want.

I can also:
adjust idle,
replace rotors,
replace pads,
swap speedo,
adjust throttle cable,
adjust handbrake cable,
replace PTU,
and other stuff.

I will have a full tool set, including soldering station, torque wrench, G clamps (for brake pads).

Just bring your parts and get there early.

as much as id like to do a sunday one some time, time constraints atm reduce me down to saturdays.. take the day off work ... its for the zeds afterall

 

I think I might have this saturday off til 6pm I'll double check when I get home but if so I'll be in as long as I can find a way to get my car there and back (no licence) will anyone have stuff to do compression test? Also need help adjusting hatch latch so it shuts properly, and making bonnet shut properly if we can, and installing HIDs. Willing to help everyone with everything otherwise but mechanicly I don't know much so youl have to tell me what to do lol

Spewing working night shift

 

I will probably be ripping out my clutch that day, so chances are I won't be able to make it

 

any chance someone can show me how to fit my hicas lockout bar on the day?? is it an easy job, just got mine in the post today. no idea how to fit it tho

 

Can any member attend this techday?
i live 4 hours south of perth, mainly the reason i havn't tried to come to any previous events.. but i'l be up on the 9th. I've had my z since december but i still dont know too much about it, i have a high idle and my stock boost guage only shows im boosting to around 5psi (although i have read on here that it can be quite inaccurate??),, would someone be able to check these things out for me?
