hi guys i know its not Zed related but it was a good event so hear is some pics from Sunday you can find some more pics on my blog http://rosswilsonphotography.blogspot.com/
Where about's were you taking pics from Ross? I was standing on that corner near the sand for like half the day haha. I was wondering who's bumper was stuck in there, but now I see. That "Ute" looked terrible by the time we got there. So beaten up!
I went down on Saturday to check it out. It was a lot better than last year but still not as many people at the first year it started in WA. I was hoping to see a couple of Z's out on the track but didn't happen. We tuned a few cars on Thursday/Friday for the event but unfortunately the new found power caused gbox failure.... The s13 we tuned broke 3rd, 5th and Reverse somehow (s13 gearboxes are so much fail) and the r33 broke 3rd which is surprising because it only had 400rwhp. Was good to come down anyway and check it all out.... There are more and more jap cars out on the track now which is good.... About time us jap guys start squashing those double pumpers!
Was passenger in the drift car The red/green R32 which you took pics of. He forgot to secure the bonnet pins, when got out on the track, bonnet slammed into the windscreen, cracked the glass and the driver kept on driving/drifting lol, absolutely insaine, and the best thing is, had a handycam inside the car and its all on film
should have seen the 'ute' in the burn outs.... ripped his skirts and rear bar off half way through from the tyre delaminating... lucky for him he had a ute to carry them away in lol
Mmmm i was sat over near the bratwurths van down by corner one and yea the s13 ute was looking pretty sad after its sandy adventure
Awesome event, I enjoyed it a lot. Only gripe was getting back to the car at the end of the day to find it covered in dirt from parking in a dust bowl paddock. btw great pics
