    Hi Guys (and/or girls),

Im having problems with my power window on the drivers side.

It started acting up last week, just would not work at all. No movement (windows were up), no motor noise, nothing. I tried it again the next morning and it worked fine.. Until I put the windows up and went into a shop for 40 minutes, then nothing again. Same thing the next morning, worked the first time, then nothing.

Passenger side window has been working fine from both passenger and driver switches as always. When the drivers side window did work, it worked fine. It wasn't hesitant or slow. But as I said, when it doesn't there is nothing.

Today I pulled the door card off and tested the plugs into the black box (which I guess is an amplifier of some sort) and the small white plug (leads to the motor I think) just below the bracket the switch trim screws down into. 12.5v across each.

So I'm thinking the motor is shot now :/

Ideas and opinions would be great please :)

    Cheers,
    Joel

My money is on the amplifier......

Intermittent operation will almost undoubtedly be the fault of the Power Window Amplifier

I might pull the passenger side amp out tomorrow and swap them, see if it works then :)
