    Hi dudes,

I have realized that my power steering is leaking from where the cap is. Especially when I move the steering left and right. Do you guys know what the problem might be? if it is a the Cap where can I get one from, I dont know who sells it by itself without the pump. Where can I also get a radiotor cap?

Leaking out the cap may indicate PS reservoir overfull and/or fluid is being aerated and pump (impeller) in need of service.

The power-steering reservoir is not pressurised, the only pressure in the P/S system is from the pump to the steering rack... the cap on the reservoir is merely a cover to prevent spillage/entry of dirt. I would agree that there is probably an overfill situation. Even if the pump is cavitating/aerating, if the fluid level was normal you should not get any splash-back.
Note that there are two levels on the dipstick attached to the cap... one for cold, one for operating temperature (the "Hot" level is about 5mm higher than the "Cold".) Check the level one morning before you start the car.

as for the radiator cap, genuine nissan is the way to go, make sure if yours is a TT that you get the 1.2 pressure rated cap not the 0.9 (which is ok for an NA). get it from your local nissan parts supplier.
