Hi all just finished the Z's plenum pull and a service thought i'd share my experiances. It took 11 hours for me by myself to get her up and running again. did the bypass of the PRVR and AIV's also deleted the EGR (i would by another valave just so i could smash the shit out of it for some satisfaction) I also did the under plenum water hose bypass and managed to knock up some ugly but functional EGR blanking plates. there are a few things about this experiance i would like to share. 1. nothing beats having this forum and it's members knowledge base when it comes to taking on a job like this, without you guys this car would of been set on fire and pushed out the garage at least a dozen times. 2. never underestimate australia post's abillity to cock up a delivery. 3. EGR's are nissans way of saying **** you to it's customers. 4.it is possible to cry yourself dry with tears of frustration. I love my Z and i have been through hell singe day one trying to get her to run right so i'd like to thank those who put in time and effort with it. Niall thanks for putting up with the phone calls and the examination at the beginning to sus out what was going on. Raheen thnks for the supply of parts, advice and knowledge of where to get what i need and how to save a few penny's doing it. I am debating selling her due to this retarded economy atm and it will be sad to see her go but for the immediate future i will be enjoying the feeling of 14psi boost with the tops off.
