i will sell you my car for $15k

Comparing your wish list to my spec list looks like this

-turbo(thinking the gt28rs kit from UAS) - have gt28r kit installed less power but plenty for standard bottom end
-swith to MT - mine already mt
-300degree fuel rail - dont have
    -740cc injectors - 555cc nismos
-new guages inc EBC - have two pillar gauges (boost and voltage) plus hks ebc
-fuel pump - just had aftermarket walbro fitted
-bigger FMIC - have stillen larger side mounts
    -hard pipes - dont have
-new BOV (not sure of best application yet) - have them work fine
    -radiator - still stock
-oil cooler - huge oil cooler fitted
-tein super streets with edfc - tein coilovers but not super streets and no edfc
    -whitline sway bars -dont have
-ross crank pulley - have lighted underdive pulley
-tomei cam gears - jun cam gears fitted
-1 piece drive shaft - dont have
-ECU (new one or socket and tune not sure) - hitec ecu tuned by bob
-3" exhaust - 2.5 inch inc CES 5 bolt dump pipes
-engine bay dress up (polish or paint plenum etc.) - not done
-full beet wide bodykit with that really exotic looking rear (and diffuser) - no body kit only greddy copy front bar
-convert to slick top - not slick top would have to do
-new side mirror - not fitted
-intrument panel white face aluminum gauge rings 300kph speedo - stock panel but have mines 300kmph speedo
-2k spec tail light - dont have
-xenon headlight conversion (or new set) - dont have
-clear indicators (or different style)- dont have

things i do have that your list hasnt included
    - cross drilled rotors
    - jwt 400+ cams and valve springs etc
    -buddy club racing 17inch wheels
    -oil catch can
    -cushion button clutch 1000km old
    -fidanza lightweight flywheel
    -nissport ported throttle bodies

so pretty much the engine work has been done and so has supporting mods, eg rotors, fue pump etc only thing you would have to do would be the body fit a kit that you like and lights etc as well as change to a slick top.

i can tell you that it you can throw 25k at the thing pretty quickly and you may not get everything you want on that list above. Just something to consider plus you would have 2 zeds not 1.

    cheers

If your doing a project car. and you have a daily. Forget a budget and a time frame.

Just do it bit by bit, start with the suspension. Put all new bushings, coilovers, sway bars and tie rods. oh you could even mod the sub frame. Then start the manual swap. then the engine. then the exterior. then interior. Drive it between steps.

and dont check you account balance, just enjoy the car lol. Its fairly rewarding at the end, but its ALOT! (but not unreasonable) of hard work if you do it yourself. It can be enjoyable no reason why it has to be hard.

Not all cams are created equal -remember i had a set of jwt before buying the jun kit (springs are also heather with jun). Also with the springs, if you want aftermarket titanium retainers then you need to make sure your retainers and springs are compatible. If you buy a kit then at least you know it will all go together.

Huge turbo's and injectors but no mention of beefy internals?

Set aside 10k alone to build a bottom end that can entertain those turbo's and injectors. that means,

    Good forged pistons
    Forged 4340 Con Rods
    ACL Race series Bearings
    Good Quality Piston Rings
And a shitload of associated maching time.

But you gotta ask yourself what you really want from this thing. Over 300rwkw is extremely difficult to harness on the street and probably not useable on most tracks .

Big power is really for drags, dyno's and bragging rights.

My zed with somewhere around 250rwkw lights the tyres up when it comes on boost in 2nd. any more power means 1st and 2nd are not useable at full throttle. I dare say 300 to 350rwkw would be hairy in 3rd.

So unless you want to go to the drags or dyno every weekend i think its a waste of money.

Id re-evaluate, smaller turbo's , some 555's , cheap forgies, stock heads and have something that punches out 270 -280rwkw easily and reliably. More than enough to blow the doors off most street cars

my benchmark is 250rwk but i would like to go a bit higher.
my Z is my daily btw.
i woulds like to do the work myself but i don't have a garage in which to store my car while doing the work, although in case you wonder no i am not planning on leaving my beloved in the street for people to steal.
we're building a lockup car port over the drive way so it's got cover and a bit more security

Forget that huge list then. do a mild stock rebuild with highflow stock turbo's or something similar
