I got a silly question about the air filter ...I have changed my air filter to a 'pop' charger or something .... but there aren't any 'pop' sound at all ... ??? lately i saw a 94slancer with that 'pop' sound or 'Shhh' sound when they accelerate ..... i mean is it impossible for a non - turbo car to have that 'pop' 'Shhh' sound???????? I think that ;s some thing called "Blow off value" ... is it impossible for a twin cam car to have that ?? cheers :`( :`( :`(
some easy answers first of all, a pop charger isnt called that because it pops. the only noise it make is a rushing sound. like when you seck air air in yout mouth and you got your lips close to eachother. like a reversed whistle.and that psssshhttt sound is a blow off valve and you cant have it on a non-turbo. but you can get an electronic version which does that sound when you get off the gas.give ya a hint, buy some car magz and read up!LaterZ Chris :-Z

OMG the grammar centre of my brain.... just exploded. Its called a blow off valve, with a v. It releases the pressure created by the turbos. Cars without turbos dont need them. If you want the cool sound either a) get turbos b) have your window down and make the noise with your mouth as you drive or c) get the electronic one. The electronic one is just a speaker that makes the noise when you shift change. Search google for it and Im sure you will find it.Beware though, people will laugh until they pee themselves if they hear it and know you dont have a turbo.

man... If you want to write "wanker" all over your car then you should do it. But dont stop there. Youll also need a turbo timer and a half intercooler (which sadly you can also buy) If you do get the electronic wastegate, see if you can vent the speaker back into the inlet of the amp to quieten it down a bit. Chili has a point about taking Z32 drivers seriously. We havent had the best run with 300's being launced thru second story factory windows at 250ks and the Vic police report that stated 1 in 3 Z32tt drivers under 25 is a drug dealer.
