The pink Autosol is much less abrasive than the white stuff(I haven't tried the Purple Polish, who makes it)?
California customs are the makers, apparently the hot rodders swear by it. I got the polish from auto pro, not sure what other big retailers sell it.
Liquid Reflections is another completely non-abrasive polish. Friend who did my polishing work swears by it. LOT of elbow grease to bring up the finish however.
Olly the guy who did the polishing says that Autobarn also sells the Purple Polish..but is around $35 I think he said...I've heard a lot of positive things about Purple Polish, so I'll stick to it...just over a week now till it will be all INSTALLED
