Just a question, i have just had a pod filter fitted to my z, the bottom gaurd has been revoved i think? so that the pod is exposed to the out side directly through the front air intake, im wondering if water could go into the pod from the front or should a gaurd be installed? any suggestions?

    Yeh thats what i thort

It seems t be about 2-3" up higher than the top of the front opening, i would'nt think it would be affected, allthough it is drawing in air? i just dont whant a water air intake mixture i dont fink it be very good:wacko:

    Just for info..

once upon a time.. in a land not far from here.. when I was an apprentice.. HSV brought out a thing called an SV5000, mostly in Bottle green, the induction for that had a huge Airbox that had a big velocity stack going directly downwards... awesome induction noise...
and good HP, but they had a baffle under the guard, for two things reduce the induction roar and to stop direct induction of bulk water..seems some either missed out or owners had removed them... needless to say we had a few in that needed the crooked rods  to be removed and nice straight ones put back in... perhaps the original design of an air pump wasn't so good as a waterpump...
