    hey guys

i'm in the process of slowly doing a complete replacement, and cleaning service of the zed, i was going to do the plenum pull about a week ago, but i wasn't feeling very brave. so a few basic questions,

why do a plenum pull and what are the benefites of this, and secondly, is it a big chore and what does it entail.

i'm slowly getting more confident about pulling things apart, but it kinda feels like pulling things out of a FERRARI,:wacko::wacko:

    anyways, thanks guys.

    Plenum Pulls

The main reason people do a plenum pull is to replace/bypass the coolant hoses under it. These eventually start to leak at what is usually an inconvenient time. This also gives you access to the injectors so you can clean or replace related components at the same time. There is another recent post where an improved description of the plenum pull is now available. This may give you insite.

That is under the lower plenum......>>

Which will also require the removal of the timing covers at the front, since the top idle pulley is mounted to it.
