Plastic Cover

I have a plastic cover (Lower Splash Shield) right under my engine and today a plastic bag jumped up and caught it and snapped the darn thing.

Does anyone know if the plastic cover is essential or non-essential because atm i have just used some aircraft tape to hold it up?

And if it is essential what does it do? and where can i get another one of them

 

You asked a complicated question. , you can run without it I removed mine after a giant rock has its way with it .

 

so i can take that away and the car wont start turning internal lights on telling me shit?

Everything underneath just gets a lot dirtier a lot faster without the shield + if you drive over dirt, the whole engine bay cops a duststorm...

Maybe contact Mungyz to see if he'll be making more ally engine splash shields

 

I have mailed him so i will see what he can do. Hopefully when i lift it up tomorrow morning i dont find the front shield in bad condition.
