ive been looking into getting a piggy back ecu for a while now.
i used search and all it came up with is a thread from 2006 so i was
just wondering if there is a specific one anyone recommends or if the ones
from back then are still good. i can get an apexi safc2 for around 200 dollars.
has anyone used these or heard anything about them? thanks

SAFC is useless unless you can measure wideband O2, plus that will only allow adjustment of the air to fuel ratio.

Nistune still by far the best value for money.

yeah but 2 hundred is cheap cheap.

find a freindly dyno operator who will give it a bit of a tweak for him while doing a power run. well worth 200 plus the power test.

Cheap cheap maybe but only does a 1/4 of the job. $400 for Nistune and can be tweaked to hearts content. Imagine how pissed he would be if he wants to lose the speed limiter, remove the boost cut or most importantly, upgrade injectors later on and all he has is the extremely limited SAFC. Sounds like someone else i know ;)

I'm just wondering what mods have you done to need the upgrade to a nistune/safc?

I'm guessing you have an N/A?

You may want to find out why you upgrade to dual POD/MAF before blowing all that cash:nono:

I prefer my Fernando flywheel. Pulls the ladies much better than shitty fananzo knockoffs
