Went out cruising around town last night WHAT A BUZZ, I saw a couple of other zeds on the road a red one parked just of Ipswich rd at the main intersection and a black one in Holland Park.
Booked it in on tuesday to get the minor repairs done and the 100000km service also. The mechanic told me that a few things are required for the service like oil seal, water pump, hoses etc. Does this sound correct?
Can't wait to have it done so I can cruise with confidence.

such as pulley belts, thermostat ... have you done a search, .. there should be enough there to fill you in .. try also some scottz posts on the topic .. he posted a long list of 100kkm and plenum pull gear at one time ...

They told me that when doing a 100000km service, it is wise to do everything else at the same time. they told me all oil seals, water pump, thermostat, bypass hoses, drive belts, some kind of springs with orings, tensioner and pully's, radiator flush, radiator hoses, all oils, spark plugs, fuel filter and air filter. That's what concerns me are all these things needed when doing a 100000km service?
I did some searches and found that this is normal for this kind of service.
I shouldn't complain cause I picked this up for a bargin, so I might as well spend some moolar on it to get it tip top.

are you good with a spanner?

    if so, diy! :p

The usual things that are replaced for 100000km service are...
    Water Pump + gasket
    Thermostat
    Bypass hoses
    Timing Belt
    Accessory Belts
    Idler Pulleys
    crank sprocket
    auto tensioner
    etc
    etc

check out czp or ttz for a complete list of 100km service stuff...

    it's all about preventative maintenance!

Are you supplying parts ex Coz?

Otherwise it'll cost you megabuck$ for locally supplied 100k kit. 5 days delivery ex Coz/USA.

I just sourced local a/m parts to do a 100k service which did not require seals or waterpump done:

    Gates timing belt $36
    Bypass hoses (2) $2.50
    Micro V-belts (3) $41
    Upper/lower tensioner pulleys $142
    Auto-tensioner FOC :)

coz is da man for the 100kkm kit .... and consider going the full hog ..

.. this means consider purchasing the 120,000 miles kit as opposed to the 60,000 mile kit .. simply on the premise that import speedos have been wound back, heaps ...!!!!

and one more hint .. be very specific in specifying the belts (3) that you need .. the 3 provided by coz were too small .. i still have not investigated why/how this happened and it may well have been an ordering error on my part ...!!!!:unsure::unsure::zlove::zlove:
