Because Im going to light it on fire and collect insurance from the ashes...

I kid, over the next 5 or so years I plan to do a full rebuild starting from last month. I'll cross off boxes as I go

Im aiming to build a decent all round tourer/streeter with occasional track use in mind. Its my daily, and as of this point I live in the country so some stuff will have to wait till I retur to the city to be worth going all oout on (paint for example).

    Plans include (at this point)

    Handling:

    ISC ultimate coilovers [x]
    Whiteline sway bars [ ]
    Strut bars [ ]
    Camber arms [ ]
    Larger slotted rotors [ ]
    Perhaps aftermarket or GT-R callipers [ ]
New high performance pads (greenstuff or endless depending on caliper choice [ ]
    Braided brake lines [ ]
    Larger master cylinder [ ]

    Rims and tyres:

    Enkei AKP 18x8 (black/chrome) [ ]

    Exterior:
    Stillen GTZ-R2 OR 2k spec front bar [ ]
    Kaminari skirts [ ]
    Veilside CI rear bar [x]
    Stock spoiler [x]
    Clear indicators [x]
    Ferrari tail lights [x]
Current bonnet possible upgrade to CF [x]
    OR CF vinyl wrap
    Gonzo's A style nose panel [ ]
    HID headlights/driving lights [ ]
Respray in Ford Venom red or HOK Kandy brandy depending on living arrangments and general usage [ ]
    Flared rear guards [ ]

    Interior:

Seat retrim in white leather/black suede [ ]
CF facia, dash and door card highlights [ ]
    Brushed aluminium detailing [ ]
    Aftermarket gauges [ ]
    A-pillar boost/oiltemp gauges [ ]
Flip out 7" touchscreen media player [x]
    Isotta steering wheel [x]
    12" sub [x]
Clarion front and rear splits [x]
    Amps etc [x]

    Engine/drivetrain/exhaust:

Not exactly sure here, considering 3.2L stroked VG30DETT conversion or LS1.
Everything else depends on that really.

    As of now I have

    K&N pod filter [x]
    3.5" mild steel exhaust [x]
    Iridium spark plugs [x]

Im a recent P plater so laws are restricftivde in the power gain area.

    Likely additions include

    2.5" mandrel bent stainless exhaust [ ]
    Xforce Varex mufflers [ ]
    hi-flow cat [ ]

Comments, suggestions and questions are welcome as well as any advice on where and how to carry out these mods...

Looks good mate. Try to keep a nice format going as you progress, makes reading it 100 time more enjoyable. nothing shits me more than scrolling across 10kms to read a post *glares at chrispy* :zlove:

Make sure you document everything and take pics even just for your own collection. Its great to look back on old pics and remind yourself of the good/bad times :)

I love to document things and its really enjoyable reading other peoples well presented work. I have a training log of my martial arts that goes into great detail also..im a nutter for it haha.

I think you will have a lot of fun doing these things you have on the list. Also try to have an idea of what you want rather than making up things along the way. Which i think you v already done so good work :)

anyways thats my advice, up to you what you like/dislike...
    :)

Yep, you can claim inspiration for the CF wrap :) I may be bugging you about that quite a bit n the coming months lol

Great idea with the photo documentation, I'll start on that this weekend. the exterior was far from stock (see sig) when I bought it. Buuut I've seen other things I like more in most aspects so it may as well have been a stocker

You can make money off all the bits you dont like, especially the VS. Dont settle for anything just cos its easier, take the hard road, it more rewarding!!

Anything vinyl dont hesitate to PM, anything from sourcing it to applying it to goods/bads i probably know.

As for pics i suggest imageshack, then in the options say resize it to 640x??? will give it good consistency and avoid stupidly large pictures like so many people post up.

I plan to, but I live in central NSW at the moment and travel between towns a lot. The roads here are less than forgiving...

Moving back to the Gold Coast this year though, so I'll slam it then. All the components are already installed to it's just a case of adjusting them correctly :)

Anyone coming to Zed fest will get a look :)
