Wow, what a fantastic, productive weekend and a great example of our Queensland comradery! [TIS]
Pexzed had organised the weekend to do 2 plennum pulls (on both his Zeds). This also involved doing other associated things while plenums and other bits are off including wiring in new connectors, new piping, some engine painting and bling bits along with general clean up and servicing.

Also there was a stereo install, alarm fitting, UHF install and a custom ECUTalk dash install. Bit daunting to do over 2 days hey?? Well....

Thanks to some key players we got it all done!!!!...

    ...and me [TIS]

There were also other visitors that came to say g'day and help also, which was great to see all of you!

I had to leave at around 2.00pm today (Sunday) for other engagements but when i left, both Zeds were running and the rest of the guys were just fine tuning some last things, so no doubt others can jump on here and post up results - and photos if there were any.

Saturday night deserved us to play hard, after working hard during the day. It ended up turning into a 2am finish and many, many empty boooze bottles lying around! - then back into it with many sore heads this morning to finish off our great work!

We had just the right people doing just the right jobs this weekend, and it shows just how helpful and obliging some of our members are to others on here! Glad to be a part of it!

A big thanks go out to Pexy and his delightful wife Tammy for putting us all up for the weekend, cooking delightful feasts for us, supplying mountains of delightful boooze for us all, and just being their typical delightful selves :)

....btw, see you all next weekend ;)

..simply another brilliant QLD tech weekend ... heaps of fun and lots of tech tech in a great mix ....

..and one Q ...how can a tech day (Saturday) begin around 9.00 am and finish at 2.00am the next morning .... lol...!!!

.. there were some very sorry sights on Sunday morning .....

... many thanks to all for allowing me to perform the usual "incompetent" supervision role ... it worked too well ... eeekkk ..

... even managed a spare 15 minutes to fit my new strut brace ....

and, of course, a big thank you to Tammy and Greg .... the hosts who give the most ... just wonderful ...

    AWESOME weekend

big thanks to tammy for keeping our faces full of food. those rolls were awesome.[TIS]

excellent turnout for the quiet not so little event. [TIS] mods will have to infract me for getting some of the wiring wrong and a couple of other small things. [TIS]

always good to see that baz is still drinking even though he knows what he will be like the next morning. i thought he was gonna die there for a minute.

and as always, it was good to see the forum people and to drink piss all night. [TIS]

Thanks to Barry and his absolutely priceless incompetent supervision, (for all else you need Mastercard), a few items were overlooked ;) ... EGR blanking plates NOT fitted to YF's plenum before re-install :bash: ;) ;) I won't mention who were ACTUALLY responsible for this oversight as I should have checked too.

Thanks to Eric all was not lost and BoneZ deserves a medal for all the work he did today amidst certain others hangover misery and panadol popping.... next time shout and sing a bit quieter... please BoneZy ;) :)

Great to have Mark (Zed4life) back on the team :zlove:

Burgundy Bullet's engine bay now looks the goods although extra killer wasps are probably offset with the added weight of BennyC, Ztoy and Sticky installed electronics ;)

Thanks to Tammy for putting us up, feeding us and generally ... putting up with us ... we luvya long time! :D

DZS team back in action next weekend... if I sober up in time ...:eek::eek:

What a MOFO tech day weekend [TIS]. Bloody Brilliant.

Many thanks to all that came, and especially to those who put in such a mammoth effort.
You guys (intended unisex term) are just the best group of people to have as friends.
I can honestly say during the weekend that no one was unintentionally ambiguous or sanctimonious.
Hopefully I can render some assistance in return for the next scheduled DZS meet in just one week.
Tammy and I are most humbled and grateful for all your time and efforts.

As for the Yellow Z, still a persistent oil leak, although we think it's narrowed down to the oil line for the drivers turbo, as that area was heavily disturbed and the leak is notably worse now.

The Burgundy Bullet despite a nervous moment is running great, with the only thing that needed changing around after everyone left was the AAC/IACV and the Fast idle connector.

Had a few beers so far today, so I'll take it out for a gentle drive later [TIS]
