secret is this was a LEGIT event, not some random meet, and the people there PAID to be there. beleive me, we've had cops totally road block a street meet before, choper and all. 1000 cars 'll do that

never heard that one most of the footage used was pre everyone scrambling my 180sx is in it (well.... a blur as the camera went past the line of cars but meh... its there ) Also i doubt a film crew asking for police assistance would merit a chopper and every exit blocked, with cops every where and almost every car getting checked and heaps of yellows being issued.
it was coz of the normal tools out there doing their burn outs/violence and shit, which they were obligated to report in exchange for being allowed to be left in peace to do what they wanted to do... as for exits blocked and canaries everywhere... thats what happens when you get huge amount fo cars and a bunch of pissed off cops... organises sent out a public warning days before the event that any stupidity would be reported, cops just obviously went all out and had other plans
ah yeah ok now it makes sense. I thought you meant the organisers screamed "help" and suddenly all the perth cops appeared. ill never ever forget that night
