got my new(ish) exhuast all fitted up, new cats hangers and a few re-welds. 2.5" split SS dumps through mangaflow cats into HKS super draggers. sounds great, flows well. untill.... 1 bolt has come loose between the turbo and the dump pipe. drivers side turbo, top innermost bolt. and as my fiancee's and I daily has had it's clutch give up the ghost i haven't been able to get ontp it to fix it, let alone fit my new AMS rad and pulleys. i'm actually considering paying some one to do it for me, the bolt that is. and i haven't done that since my engine rebuild 3 years ago now. anyway rant over, still peeved
Chrispy is right. Get at it from the top. ideal tool would be a ratchet style 13mm ring spanner, and some patience. Be prepared to loose some skin and swear a bit, but it's doable.
old stock rusted bolts really should be replaced... chuck some glenlocks on there they will never EVER come loose !!
caution, cussing and swearing may be required to undo them, and a gas torch or a mate or two with a beer to support. "should be the beginning paragraph of all Z sevice manuals"
defiantly doable, if i got my fat hands in there then anyone can. although....the day i put my dumps on was the day i said swear words which i never new existed!
