    Hey guys,

I have removed all the driver side panels and center console panels but I can not figure out how to get the glove box and passenger foot well panels out. whats the process that needs to be followed?

    Cheers - Biggie

there should be a plastic lining at the bottom of the glove box held in by 4X trim clips. remove that, it hides 2 bolts 12mm i think from memory.. undo those.. undo gas strut on glove box (screw at the side) and fiddle till you can remove it.

As for the other panels.. the ones on the side where the door closes just clip on.

Actually just to clarify that........the SIDE panel on the end of the dash to the LHS of the glove box (the one that has the vent duct that connects to the door duct) clips on! - so just pull that off!

Once you do it exposes the 2 screws that hold the small trim piece on the dash between the glove box & the door! There are screws on the other side of this piece too! - but from memory you can easily see those when you open the glove box! ;)

Once the glove box is out you can also get to the screws that hold the foot well trim panel! ;)

The bolts that hold the glovebox in are actually nuts, and they are 10mm, once you remove that there is a black metal thing bolted in there with more 10mm nuts and bolts, including the bolts that gold the part that the glovebox latches onto, then once all that is removed there is a few screws holding the little piece to the left of the glovebox. Same with the bit on the RHS, the RHS piece also has 2 screws holding it in that you need to remove the plastic trim surrounding the gear shift.

    All done

    Thanks guys,

I've removed all the tweed pieces in the front section of my car, just the two left in the rear.

Time to prep all the parts and drop them off to the retrim shop.

Hopefully this will save me a fair bit in labor costs, and allow me to drive my car while the parts are getting re-trimmed. Just hope I can put it all back together again

might be a few people wanted to know how to do this with all the re-trim kits finally delivered. Just a few key words to help people find the thread---->

    keywords:
    how to remove glove box
how to remove passenger side trim
    how to remove interior trim
    removing tweed
    re-trim tweed
