hi guys, does anyone now what the part number is for NGK iridium plugs for a 91TT???? its not the same as a n/a is it....ta
Try the Tech section there is a few different ones depending on the situation. Heres the link, http://tech.aus300zx.com/
I only use NGK PFR6B-11C ... I get mine from ebay. people will disagree but I find they provide the best longest smooth running. My understanding is than even though iridium will work in the Z32 fine there are small differences.. the iridiums are designed for higher revving engines, this aids is self cleaning. also there is slight difference in length, so penetration is at different distances... and we all know how important penetration is.. best of luck..
If you read the Factory Service Manual you will find the information in the Maintenance Section under Service Data & Specifications. Standard: PFR6B-11C Hot: PFR5B-11C Cold: PFR7B-11C
I don't believe that any of these plugs are still available. NGK later released the PFR6B-11B to replace the ones stated in the FSM for the TT. http://z32.wikispaces.com/Spark+Plug TT Platinum - NGK PFR6B-11B, Nissan part # 22401-40P66 TT Iridium - NGK BKR7EIX (colder plugs for higher output TT's - BKR8EIX or BKR9EIX) NA Platinum - PFR6G-11 NGK TT Iridium 9's NGK TT Platinums NGK NA Platinums
FYI.. these are what i get in the UK.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=PFR6B-11C&_sacat=0&_from=R40
partially agree with you and I've already see that (the discussion on the subject has been going for a long time in many forums) so why then on the NGK site do they not recommend them for the Z32? http://www.ngk.com/ngk-aut-c1411.aspx it would be nice to see some real lab or field tests to compare the plugs on both standard and modded Z32s.
