how much would you think it would cost to paint your car? who has and how much did you spend? i dont want to pull every thing off the car just the exterior. Im thinking about going gun metal gray with the non gloss finish.
this has been covered heaps before....it all depends how much you wanna spend....you can get a decent job for 4kish....a really good job for 8kish and show room stuff for anything above that...it also depends what paint you want to use and if your getting your stock colour resprayed or if you using a diff colour

I take it from your avatar your car is red? Well to change colours will cost you more then respraying it in the same colour. Your best bet is to go to panel shops around in your area tell them what you want and get quotes. Also ask them what type of paint they use as using different paints will make your quote higher or lower then another panel shop. Another thing too like Renee and her boy friend have done is do some of the work which in the end has cost Renee a nice 3k to have the car sprayed which looks damn nice!
Hell yeah it's damn nice..lol..removing the parts aren't that bad either, I mean I did the front bar myself without any issues..I'm a pro at getting it off now..hahaha
It is a nice paint job from the pictures. Hope they gave you some touch up paint. haha yeah once you do things a couple of times you can do it with your eyes closed
i got mine done in a gunmetal. but with pearl. all under cost. you wont get a decent one done for under 2 gs. i got mine done for 2 grand, but all my mates are in the car industry, so i know painters/ panel beaters etc so i got it at cost price. paint was 500 + 300 for pearl, (cameron from body shop) painter was 400 (pete from phil mundys) panel beater was 1200 (jay from baywood panels) and mines show quality atm. will be in this years autosalon completly finished. but i suggest than rather get on here and ask, you go and get first hand quotes. i went to 15+ places, lowest quote was from a place near mine for 4 grand not including part removal, so yeah.. i was lucky. hope that helps. kindest regards. rod.
i'm getting my zed resprayed eventually, just a nice clean white. spoke to one panel shop and they said for everything i want done (fitting new front bar, side skits and rear bar and custom bonnet) would be about 5k and if they find anything that needs to be done it will be extra....stuff that. i then went to my mothers cousin who own three panel shops down my way and he said if i sand it back and fit the kit they will do the rest for $1000... i was stoked. i've seen his work, he owns a restored ford mustang which is a monster and the paint is perfect so i cant wait for it to be done... where do you live ? if your close to sydney then i may be able to help you out with the price...maybe
