hi guys,. I am wondering what would be the cause of over boosting the turbos I have a turbo smart dual stage boost controller and it is set at: low=10 psi and high=12 psi. from the aftermarket boost gage it has always seemed to be running at these settings. but lately the low psi is hitting almost 15 and the high is going to 18 psi. I have tried to adust the low boost by following the instructions and still it hits 15 psi. I was not sure as to witch way to turn the boost control knob so i only turned it one way, anticlockwise, it was 8 clicks to close, or full, and then 5 clicks clockwise to set, and still 15 psi. should I experiment more with the settings or can there be other resons for the jump in psi?
Have you got the pipes on the right ports on the controller. The pressure side has to be on the right one or it wont work. and will boost high. You lose a lot of sensitivity if you still have the stock restrictors in the small pipes.
As far as I am aware the setup has not changed from first installation. (That is unless a mechanic has tried to get extra business) I will check your suggestion and hope that it is not so. thanks
