    Wow

Big well done then Caz as great time for first time. Tim who works for UAS told me Ian was driving but must hve been passenger. He must have given you some good pointers as late in the session you improved your time by around 2 seconds.
Check the driver training results here.

The track times are interesting, my next best lap time was my very first

session on the track,?. Ian Dyk jumped in for the next session of the morning, but thanks to Ports,JT and Ron I wasnt tooo far off with race lines. When and how hard to brake and power were the valuable things I got from Ian, and to get CLOSER to that milk sign on the wall:eek: aarrgghh my pretty Zed!
When I had that week with Franz he said get your line right and keep it smoooth and the speed will increase, guess he was right:thumbsup:

    Yep well done Caz

Watched that last session of yours and you were definately getting around a lot quicker than early in the day.
Not happy with my 54.294 as i only got to turn 16 laps in anger, and they were very disjointed ones what with overheating and tyre adhesion probs, will have to wait till the next one to improve.
Not a very safe track to race on, never has been with all of walls comming into play if you put a foot wrong, was concerned with some of the drop offs on the edge of the track, the place is in need of some much needed maintainence imo.

    Well Doh

What do you think i was doing,
I was just making the point that the place is in need of some TLC as it is quite run down in some areas, the edges of the track being one of them.
the Company is probably reluctant to spend up big as the track only has a short while to go before the developers move in to make it into another housing estate.
Theres talk of the owners rebuilding a new track further south around the Wilton area.

    Well I >>

    certainly hope so Ron.
There was some talk of rebuilding the circuit exactly as is, on the new site. But what pisses me off, is the land developers, who buy land next door to the track, then have it re-zoned,people buy their houses there & then whinge about the Race Track, & hey presto, one more circuit disappears.
Circuits to date that I know of that this has happened to are: Warrick Farm, Liverpool, Amaroo Park,
& now Oran Park, not to mention a few Drag Strips as well.
But I've fond memories of competeting at Amaroo & Oran Park, & watching some of the greatest F1 drivers ever at Warrick Farm in its hey day, its just a shame that this happens.
    Cheers

    How is it...?

How is it that windows are allowed to be half up??? That is very very very dangerous!

Is it just the half way that is the prob? I had mine fully down, thought

they might pull me up on it like the drags, but thankfully they didnt. It was hot enough in there with long sleeves and helmet:p

    Yeah it is Caz.

All the way or all the way down is how it should be.

In a side impact incident, the edge of the glass is like a knife blade. It cuts and has in the past decapitated (sp?) people.

This doesn't just apply on the track either.

If I want to have the window open but not fully, I make sure that its closed enough so that my head can not physically make contact with the edge of the glass.

This is also one of the first things you get told at driver training courses!

    Is this Panda's rotor?

Blipman used to cook brakes with these same wheels.

Yeah it is! and by the look of the 'hand' it his dad Red Panda driving.

Thats interesting about Blip with the same wheels. JP was saying its a bigger brake kit too:unsure:. Wizard was running with similar wheels too on Sunday....

I think I just need more Ventalation.

there isn't much room for air to get out or in.

Think it is me. No passenger.

I drive toooo slow according to Panda

It is Panda driving. I did not go fast enough to get the brakes that hot. 1.04.039 was my quickest time but it was quite a buzz having a go.
