Easiest option is to run the fibre glass ones .
I actually added another layer of fibre glass on the inside of mine . .quite solid now .
Should be on my build thread .

Yeah, fiberglass can be very durable if done right, my front bar has seen a few good hits but just has a bit of flaking paint and the side mounting points are a bit rough as I ran without braces to the bottom for a while. Plus if you DIY and make a mould you can make new ones whenever you want.

fibreglass is hugely underrated - it is a durable product and very repairable. the problem nowdays is its also very easy for backyard and dodgy shops to make what looks like a good product but fits like crap. I have no issues with FG products but I also have the abilty to repair or modify it as needed. If you do go down the FG rod be aware that what may be a cheap buy at the start can have a very expensive outcome. I would not buy any product without some sort of warranty that it will fit - unless you are happy to pay someone to make it fit, or can do so yourself. We just threw out 2 FG Z bars at work as they were utter crap and had no chance of fitting without completely reworking them........ not a big loss though they were that boxy angular kit that often comes in widebody - sorry cant be bothered finding a pic.
