    Problem with this position is that it is located at different lengths from the exhaust ports of each cylinder. As we all know with the VG, cylinder 5 and 6 are the worst effected by heat. So unless your tuning each cylinder individually (you can for fuel, but I've never used an aftermarket ecu that will tune individual cylinder ignition timing), then it's best to tune the ignition time to achieve the most from cylinders 5 and 6. Unfortunately with a TT, not easy to place a bung in the runners without removing everything as you don't want steel shavings dropping into the turbo. Passenger side is doable, but drivers side is a PITA.
