Thought it would be a good idea to take my stock bubbling spoiler off yesterday so i could fit my R34 skyline wing... Well i've got a very nasty rust hole plus a few others to deal with. But on the bright side the wing looks awesome-even if it is still black! Thinking of spraying the uprights silver and getting silver vinyl stickers on the sides and leaving the rest black.. What do you guys reckon?? p.s might be getting a new hatch!
I have seen a lot worse than that so, yeah, I could live with it. Can't tell from the pics, but the wing doesn't seem to have the right "angle of attack" (the front edge should be lower than the trailing edge)so you could find yourself with a very light rear end at speed. Kinda like upforce rather than downforce, if you get my drift.

I think you're right about getting a new hatch fixing that one will cost more than picking up a 2nd hand hatch from Cresta
Dont worry its only tacked on to see how it looks. Will prob get a new hatch or fix the one i have, then prob end up spraying it all silver.. Or not put it on at all seems the concensus is that nobody likes it but me! but hey we're all entitled to our opinions..

Didnt like it.. i always prefer ZED's without rear wings. But everyone has diff taste, good luck with it anyway make sure you post up more pics when its all finished.

I really like it, I wouldn't mind one on mine but maybe slightly lower and I would paint it all the same colour of the car, but thats my personal choice and I am sure it will look great when your finished.. Hmmm, that rust is something I probably have to look forward to also, as I have bubbles in my rear original spoiler Fran
